Executive Officer

Judy has enjoyed her position as Executive Officer since March 2015. Judy previously served as Director of Business Development for two multi-million dollar supply chain management companies, bringing with her a successful track record for building accounts and relationships nationwide. “I am passionate about the home building industry and the role that the HBA provides for those in our community.”

Debbie Perkins,,

Office and Education Coordinator

Debbie join the Home Builders Association of the Grand Traverse Area in June, 2015. Debbie has been instrumental in expanding the education courses offered to members and the building community. She previously worked as the Office Coordinator for a local electrical contractor and funeral home. Before moving to Northern Michigan, Debbie was the Office Coordinator for the Clark County Facilities Division, which oversaw the skilled trades, in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Outside of work, spending time with my 4 children and volunteering with the church is my greatest joy.”

Sara Javed,

Events Coordinator

Sara started working with the association as a volunteer in July of 2016 and quickly moved into Membership Services. She currently holds the position of Events Coordinator. Sara has been a lead role in planning many non-profit events in the past few years such as Food For Thought, Big Brother Big Sister Bowl For Kids Sake, and the Big Little Hero Race. Her passion for making a positive difference in the community drives her hard work to making events successful and in her upcoming role, creating a stronger base for members.
